About the Role

We currently have a permanent, fulltime vacancy for a Marketing Manager to join us at our Head Office in Sydney’s CBD, reporting to the Corporate Communications Manager.

You will develop and implement marketing communications, brand and education campaigns  to build citizenship, transparency and trust with our customers. The role develops materials focusing on key programs, initiatives and corporate marketing communication activities.

In the position you will:

  • Develop a strategic marketing plan working with the communications management team.
  • Lead and implement our community education awareness campaigns for electrical safety, working with internal and external stakeholders to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and implement marketing programs to support our strategic partnerships in the corporate social responsibility space.
  • Manage our sponsorship portfolio, and specifically deliver the activation components of our corporate sponsorship programs to ensure a return on investment. This includes field marketing activities such as trade shows, booths and other PR activities.
  • Measure the impact, return on investment and continuously optimise campaigns and their execution.
  • Manage budgets
  • Brand management for marketing materials. 
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key creative agencies. 
  • Plan and manage internal and external communications and marketing events.
  • Contribute to the delivery of key organisational publications. 

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree or equivalent in Marketing or similar discipline. 
  • Demonstrated experience in brand and marketing communications, sponsorship or community campaign roles, experience in working with external agencies to develop targeted campaigns. 
  • Highly developed communication skills, including writing and editing, project and event management. 
  • Strong persuasive influencing and interpersonal skills to engage, build and maintain relationships with managers and sponsors/partners. 
  • Demonstrated ability to use emerging trends and technologies to ensure stakeholder requirements are met and/ or exceeded.
  • Sound strategic thinking, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply them in the context of many competing priorities.
  • Event marketing experience.
