About the role

As a highly skilled IT professional you will work with the ICT team and stakeholders across the business to influence the direction of technology investments within the organisation. In doing so you will ensure that investments enhance the customer experience, are best practice and cost effective. Partnering with third party organisations you will identify and evaluate new and evolving technologies to obtain maximum value for the business and improve the service outcome. In addition, you will provide advice and guidance to key stakeholders on how technology can be leveraged to improve business performance and optimise the customer and employee experience.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, IT or Business or equivalent experience in a similar position.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver technology strategies at a large-scale, organisational impact level.
  • Extensive experience applying technology frameworks and methodologies with demonstrated successful delivery of outcomes.
  • Proven ability to apply market research, trends and insights to influence technology strategy and investment decisions.
  • Extensive experience in successfully influencing strategic outcomes, whilst fostering agreement among stakeholders with conflicting needs and expectations.
  • Recognised analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to determine the risks and opportunities related to emerging technologies.
  • Ability to advocate proposals and solutions in a time-constrained, rapidly changing business environment.
